I teach in a Title One low economic school. I try to provide my students with experiences and things they may not get at home. I want them to feel comfortable and loved in my classroom every day. I spend a lot of money out of my own pocket to make sure they know how special they are all year long.
I teach Second Grade at a Title One low economic school.
I teach a very diverse group of students. Some from military families, some from federal funded housing, and some even homeless.
I try to make my classroom as welcoming and fun as I possibly can. Currently I am doing a camping theme. I spend a lot of money out of my own pocket threw out the year and on birthdays and special holidays to make them feel special.
My school goes above and beyond to make sure every child has a breakfast and a lunch each day. They give teachers supplies through out the year year so the parents supply cost are $20 or under. The school also does a toy drive at Christmas to help families that may need it.
We go above and beyond to help our students and their families succeed in life.
My Project
These tree stump cushions will go along great with my camping theme classroom! The students will love them! They will make students comfortable in the classroom library/reading area while they are reading independently and with partners. I know the students will look forward to reading and beg to go to the classroom library/reading area to read. This will increase their love of reading!
These tree stump cushions are very unique.
They will add a one of a kind look and feel to my camping theme classroom library/reading area. Students reading stamina will increase because they will love to use them. I know students will look forward to reading and beg to go to the classroom library/reading area to read. This will increase their love of reading!
