My Students

My students come from a low poverty community but that never stops their desire to learn and be the best they can be. They are eager to learn, adventurous, and full of life. My students are so loving and giving and their desire to learn amazes me! I have been in our school district for 28 years and have witnessed, year after year, the amazing accomplishments of my students when they are given the opportunities to succeed. My students continue to capture my heart each year and I always say, "Once you are my kid, you are my kid forever!".

My Project

Currently, my students do not have Chromebooks that they can utilize in the library due to decreased funding for our school district. Having access to Chromebooks will allow me to better prepare them for their future by teaching them research skills and basic computer knowledge. Integrating technology into my daily curriculum is so important for the success of my students. I want to prepare my students for middle school, high school, college or tech school. Our school district is currently working hard to go one to one for our students. Through this project, receiving two chromebooks will greatly help achieve this goal. Thank you for your generosity! Our students and myself greatly appreciate it!
