My Project

Our library was closed for 15 years, and we worked hard over the past school year to make it accessible for students. We surveyed students at the end of the school year, and they wanted softer lighting, more pillows, and more signage to help them navigate the library and also let them know what resources are available to them. Students often come to charge devices, and we want to offer a safe charging station for them.

We value student input and want to make this space reflect what they need and want in a place to study.

We requested items students suggested and a few things that were needed to replace, like hand sanitizer and door stops, as well as scanners for our student helpers to help us check books in and out.
