Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I am Library/Technology teacher we just got new Chromebooks for our students they are using these wonderful technology for everyday use. The student don't always get to use technology at home. We are trying to give them the best opportunity they can get. When they can explore different ways to find out about the world around them, students feel ownership of their work.

The students at our school LOVE to learn!

They are always willing to try something new. Given the proper tools to learn, our students will succeed in anything they put their minds to!

My Project

Each student will benefit from having a pair of headphones and a mouse available to use while in the library. The headphones will also be used for testing purposes. Headphones will help our students use the technology to learn on their own and explore educational activities online.

Our students have only recently gotten regular access to Chromebooks.

The use of these things will make the lives of the students easier. The youngest students will especially benefit from the mouse because they have a hard time using the mouse pad on the Chromebook. Our students will be so excited to use this new technology.
