Library And Classroom Essentials For My Rad Readers!
My students need 3 counter-top book organizing sets, a set of magazine files, an organizing caddy, a paper organizer, and a class set of 30 privacy partitions for test-taking.
My classroom is a 5th grade classroom full of brilliant, creative students! Our school is in a high-needs community, with the majority of students receiving free or reduced lunches.
As a first year teacher, I walked into my classroom with only a few boxes of supplies with me. 8 months later, I have a room that is warm, inviting, and a place where my students feel safe and comfortable. It's a place that entices readers to think, writers to create, and those struggling learners to do their best.
I am still finding creative, inexpensive ways to allow my students the best opportunities to learn. A donation from you will provide us with more resources and opportunities for my brilliant students to showcase their learning!
The resources I am requesting will help us better organize and store our daily materials, and with several items being made from recycled materials we are maintaining an eco-friendly classroom!
The magazine files will allow us to store and organize our favorite magazines for easy use and upkeep. The table top book organizers will help us keep our favorite books handy, while allowing us to store them in like themes or by favorite author! The paper organizer will help us keep our daily papers handy. The teacher organizing caddy will be used not just as a teaching tool but as a student resource for daily access to teacher materials.
Your donation will help my students keep our classroom eco-friendly by purchasing items that are made from recyclable materials. Also, it will allow my students a student-centered way of organizing our classroom materials. They will have ownership in finding extra paper, writing sheets, their favorite books. It will create a more student-friendly functional classroom!
