My Students

My students are a wonderful group of individuals, eager to learn and love to play! I have diverse learners in my room with a total of five different languages spoken and some are slowly learning English as they interact with their peers.

In our classroom, we emphasize individuality and independence.

My students are very eager to be responsible learners and celebrate their uniqueness every day!

My Project

My students currently have a classroom library full of books that are not at their current reading level. My goal with this project is to give them leveled books to read during reader's workshop and any free time throughout the day. Giving them these books will allow them to enjoy this time as they learn to read books that are at their reading levels. With these materials, I can observe my children grow as they recognize words they know, and use what they know to problem solve words they do not yet know.
