My Students

I have the most AMAZING group of students this year! Motivated, smart, responsible, engaged and invested, and I could go on and on and on. These students are eager to learn and need to have a range of levels and topics available to them during reading class.

This year I would love to dive into the "personalized learning" goal that has been set forth by our district.

These students need a wide variety of leveled readers to help excel them on their learning path at their own pace! They need voice and choice in what and how they choose to learn!

My Project

Our district focus this year is on personalized learning. Sure, we have leveled readers that come with our reading program, but which each story there are only THREE different levels! We know that in a typical classroom of 15 students, our students are much more diverse than that! We need to reach our students with multiple books and multiple levels t ensure that students are moving along at their own pace!

These leveled readers will provide supplemental reading material for our students and provide them with voice and choice with what they are reading.

Students will be able to choose stories from a bin, that is tailored to THEM, individually, as learners.

Please help me reach my students at their own individual level to help them excel in their learning path at their own pace!
