My Students

I would love for all of my students to be at or above grade level by the end of the year in reading. Reading is such a solid foundation that the rest of their lives will be built off of. The biggest struggle I have with getting the students where they need to be is the lack of leveled books in class.

My students are the most fun-loving kids you will ever meet.

Eager to learn and please all that are around them, they truly care for others and are extremely encouraging! My students come from a lower economic population where they do not have any more than they need, and sometimes, not even that.

My Project

My students need a classroom leveled book library. They will be able to create book bins that they are able to use during their reading centers. They will be able to read books at their own levels, be able to take ownership and feel like they have something of their own. Creating a library for the students to read from will open so may doors for them, in their imagination and in real life.

This donation will make a difference in so many lives.

The students will be able to have books that they can read for years to come. Having them neatly organized and labeled the students will know what books are just the right ones for them to love and cherish!
