My Students

Hello and Greetings to you all!

I am excited to welcome you to my 7th grade ELA classroom where I service over 80 students from low-income families.

My students are wonderful and they are excited about growth and changing their mindsets this year. Their goal is to LEVEL UP in all aspects of ELA this year!

They are ready to become avid readers and writers this year and they are excited to grow into the academic scholars they are destined to become.

My Project

The whiteboards, erasers, and markers will allow students to actively engage in their learning by being able to respond to prompts, journals, questions, and exit slips in a more engaging-interactive way. Most importantly, it will create a conductive environment for students who are afraid to speak out in class, allowing them to communicate in other ways. Our buzzer system will be used to play classroom games like Jeopardy, to review material for tests and quizzes, and to enable a huge range of other creative group activities. Lastly, our classroom timer will keep us on track as we often get lost from having such a wonderful time in class!
