My students need paper to do any and all art projects in our classroom. Liquid water colors, on QUALITY art paper is essential in making these art projects SUCCESSFUL!
My students are creative, determined, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on and engaging art projects. I want them to be able to create something that they are proud of.
Each child brings their own creativity and uniqueness to their creations.
I love hearing their conversation as I walk by their tables during class about what they are working on. I hear such things as "this is so fun!" and "I wish we could do this every day!". They come to my art class each day ready to try new things and take on any project I put in front of them. Truly, they are my inspiration!
My Project
Art begins with the 'canvas' and with that we need PAPER! That is always the first thing to go. With over 380 students, quality art paper runs out fast. We have a lot of art planned for this year and without quality art paper, it will not be possible. Paper seems so less exciting than clay, paint, markers... BUT, without paper, art CAN'T happen!
I have requested 90 lb paper for our projects.
This paper is strong, can withstand those kinders who like to use A LOT of water when they watercolor, so it NEEDS to be STRONG! Speaking of watercolors, I chose Liquid Watercolors, because they are so vibrant and makes art POP. It is top of the top, when it comes to 'painting!' I put a lot of thought into their lessons to keep them engaged and excited about art. Those lessons include water color painting!
