This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class is a magical space with scholars who are eager to grow and learn. They take chances and face challenges to become future leaders in their communities.

The hands-on phonics and math materials will serve as tools for students to manipulate, explore and practice reading and math skills independently after a whole group lesson.

They will continue to practice the skills in small groups and during our active learning choice time.

The activities will be modeled in whole group and in small group with an intent to create independent learners.
