Letters Here, Letters There, Letters are Everywhere!
My students need alphabet letter dough mats, Alphabet Rockets, Write the Letter Activity center, alphabet stamps and more. They are learning to read and write letters. These hands-on activities will enhance their understanding and create a love for reading and writing.
My kindergarten students are a diverse group of five and six year old learners with mixed abilities, interests and experiences. They enjoy having opportunities for movement and given choices during the day. In my classroom, the students are learning letter names, sounds, counting skills and how to write. The students are working towards the Kindergarten standard of identifying and writing uppercase and lowercase letters.
Kindergarten students enjoy challenging their cognitive thinking skills.
My class is a mix of students with many levels of abilities. Some of my students have special needs, and some students are already able to read. I make sure that I work with each group of students so their needs are met. My students are eager, friendly, and love to learn. Because this is their first year of school, I work hard to show them how wonderful learning at school can be.
My Project
My students need a variety of letter activities to work on independently or with support in a small group. In Kindergarten, we spend a portion of our day, everyday, learning about phonics and writing the alphabet. By having multiple sets of alphabet activities like alphabet rockets and learn the alphabet dough activity set, they will be motivated and highly engaged to have hands-on activities. The students will also learn to write letters and using the lowercase letter stamps and the write the letter activity center, it will be fun and beneficial to develop their writing skills. These items will be used daily during phonics instruction, center time or stations, and guided reading time.
These letter activities will help students succeed in Kindergarten while having fun and encouraging the love of learning.
Students will be excited to use new and fun activities to learn basic skills for reading and writing. These items will be in the hands of Kindergartners for many years.
