This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My Pre-K students are so excited about reading and writing. They are excited that they can read their names, and our classroom print. In order to help them achieve all their Kindergarten Readiness goals, I will be spending a great deal of time on letters and letter sounds for the rest of this year!

My students will be able to use these new materials during small group time, to become more familiar with letters and the sounds that they make.

Pre-K children learn best when they can touch and manipulate things, and these items will help me to provide them with that opportunity!
