Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I have students with a wide range of abilities and needs. All students learn in a different way. I am my students' first contact with the school, and I want my students to be excited to come to school and learn. My students will greatly benefit from the use of varied instructional methods.

I love the way my students' eyes light up every day when they come to school.

School is a fun and exciting place for them. My mission is develop a love for learning that carries them to college.

My Project

The table will serve as my writing center. Students will be able to select construction paper, crayons, markers, pencils, stencils, learning games, stickers, envelopes, color tape, and rubber stamps to create the masterpiece of their dreams.

Writing center will give my students an opportunity to acquire higher order thinking skills through a hands-on experience.

My desire is to create an excitement and passion for learning in prekindergarten. A strong foundation in basic literacy skills is vital to a successful academic experience through high school.

I want to be able to create a visually attractive area that will get my students excited about exploring all the amazing learning materials that will be accessible in the writing area.
