Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My scholars come from various backgrounds requiring various needs. In our self-contained classroom break time and structured social time is important. These materials will support us with team-building activities, social skills, and they will also help strengthen their little finger.

Given options for break time will motivate my students to complete tasks to be rewarded with a choice of activity.

Some materials, such as the tabletop hardwood blocks and the jumbo building blocks can support students when they need independent time in the calm down area as well. The double-sided magnetic letter will support me in a small group or one-on-one work to help students to build words and spell in a fun way.
