My Students

This school year, I will be teaching about 25 fourth grade students all subjects. These students were just given the opportunity to use Chromebooks one-to-one to access personalized learning through the use of technology. They are so excited and ready to continue this 21st century way of learning. My students are all very different from one another, but together they will form a community that will uplift and encourage each others successes. I look forward to witnessing this throughout the school year!

My Project

My students need Story Works subscriptions to help them enjoy reading nonfiction texts that are also current events. These stories strike an interest with many different students and have many different topics inside of them. It also comes with inquiry questions and vocabulary launches to help build comprehension skills. I would love to give each of my student a magazine every other month to take home and show their family. This will help with family engagement at home by allowing students to share their interest and stories with their loved ones! We would love to have access to these magazines.
