Students that enter my classroom are bright, young individuals that come from a variety of backgrounds. My school has a very high free lunch ratio. Many students in my school struggle to bring a pencil or paper to class. My school has a garden that students have the chance to work in.
I believe every student can be successful.
In my classroom, students are taught to work hard every day no matter what they are facing in life. I believe that every student is able to overcome and triumph. Many of my students rise to my expectations through their behavior and classwork.
My Project
My students need wooden stools to sit on around the classroom. Recently we got two stand up desks, and the stools would be put at the stand up desk for students to use if they need a break. My students also need the hall passes because the passes we are currently using are in rough shape. Students need these passes because their paper hall passes don't always have to be used.
We also need technology items to help students save and organize information.
My students need a hard drive to save their items on. There is currently no way for my students to save their work on the computer. My school is working towards a way for students to be able to do this, but there is not currently one. Also, I need a mouse for my computer, so that I can walk around the class and work through the presentation. This will help me with my classroom management because I can be next to a student, but still controlling the computer.
