My Students
Our school promotes leadership and encourages every student to find their leader talents. My students are historians and scientists, writers and speakers with bright futures ahead.
I teach 84 curiously phenomenal students.
These students are divided into 3 classes and spend at least 90 minutes per day in my classroom.
My students consist of African-American, Caucasian, and Hispanic ethnicity, some who are English language learners. All of my students learn in collaborative groups by participating in "hands-on" activities within a safe environment.
My Project
My classroom currently has individual desks and chairs for students, which are sometimes difficult for conducting scientific experiments and activities. Having tables would create a more stable surface in which to work as well as foster group collaboration.
21st century students need a 21st century classroom design for specific learning methods.
I strongly believe that having 6 tables will create a better way to socially interact while learning and provide a solid project area.
My students are important! Having the best possible learning environment will promote social interaction and collaborate decisions. Students do not enjoy feeling isolated from their peers.
