My Project

The COVID-19 pandemic put a stop to many school clubs and programs at Ilima Intermediate School. Students were left with no clubs or programs to keep their engagement in our school. Now that COVID-19 pandemic coming to an end, Ilima Intermediate School is launching the rebirth of our National Junior Honor Society. It is time for our students to be recognized for the scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship that they have exhibited this school year. It is of the utmost importance that our school elevates our commitment to these five pillars stated to help our students develop the knowledge and skill sets to be well-rounded leaders within the school, the Ewa community, and beyond.

The canopy tents, storage cart, organizational baskets, trash bags, Christmas Lights, and snacks will be used to support the National Junior Honor Society service projects AND be used to celebrate these members at their Induction Ceremony this school year.

National Junior Honor Society take pride in everyday scholarship, service, leadership, character and citizenship. Each week, these members meet to plan current and upcoming service projects for our school and community. For example, the trash bags and canopy tents will be used for our weekly classroom pickups AND community recycling event that will be held in May. The storage cart will be used to help organize NJHS materials and permission slips. The Christmas lights, organizational baskets and snacks will be used for our upcoming Induction Ceremony in March.

These materials will go a very long way, especially when our club does not receive any financial support from our school.
