My Project

I teach second grade and absolutely LOVE the curious minds they possess! My students are curious, enthusiastic to learn, creative and kind! They enjoy math, reading, writing, dancing, singing and making up new cheers to celebrate the many successes in our classroom!

I truly and genuinely enjoy teaching second grade and want my students to have warm hats and gloves for playing outside during recess breaks!

They are so curious, and eager to learn about the world around them. When coming in from recess and playing in the snow, they are cold! I would love to have warm hats and gloves for them to wear, while outside. They enjoy math and science and truly enjoy discovering and sharing these new discoveries with their classmates and this is difficult when they are cold and having a hard time focusing on our units of study.

Warm hats and gloves will help students stay warm while having fun in the snow. My students are enthusiastic and eager to immerse themselves in "hands on" discovery learning! This in turn, , creates engaged, eager, and well-rounded students wanting to discover more, more, more! They will develop a new appreciation for how things work in the world around them, if they are able to keep warm while outside.
