This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Kindergarten class is filled with English Language Learners and native speakers, who each fill the day with joy and laughter. They come from diverse backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses.

My little school sits in the heart of San Diego, a metropolitan mix of little faces.

This is a great group of kids who are eager to do well in school.

Having access to Google Expeditions will be a fabulous addition to our brand new 21st century classrooms, being painted and remodeled with all new furniture including flexible seating this summer!

My Project

This listening center will engage my students and turn them into active participants. School listening centers are proven to be a great learning tool, especially for those learning to read or speak another language.

Listening Centers cater to different learning styles and complement the curriculum with a variety of activities to give students an alternative learning method.

Reading along with audiobooks improves listening skills. Students can record their voices for pronunciation and testing purposes. Kids can hold a real book and turn real pages!

This particular learning center comes with quality headphones that will last for years. Let's Start Listening!
