My students need SitSpots mats in order to be better with transitions!
This project expired on August 29, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are creative, sweet, and enthusiastic! Teaching third grade in a low income school means that many of my children receive free or reduced lunch here at school and they often have their own challenges at home. However, they do not let that stop them! They are still eager to learn and their positive spirit makes me love coming to work every day! I am fortunate enough to co-teach; which means that my partner and I teach two classrooms together. My students get to learn in an collaborative, inclusive environment where students of all abilities work together to reach their academic goals.
Having two classes in one large room can sometimes be difficult with transitions. By getting sit spot mats, the students can have a fun, colorful assigned spot! These will be useful during read alouds and independent reading time. Moreover, with these SitSpots, any time that we are projecting a PowerPoint or educational video, all students will be able to see.
SitSpots mats are an exciting way to make transitions easier!
The students will be enthusiastic about going to their colored spot! It will allow us to get to a learning place quicker and easier which will allow more learning!!
