My students need sit spots and more building items. We are also getting a display to oragainze our iPads and headphone so we can keep our classroom running smoothly.
Teaching kindergarten is like herding cats and teaching them how to read at the same time! The crazy part is, I was born for it. I am starting my twenty first year of teaching. Soon, I will have twenty, or more, new kinder friends. We will sing, laugh, and learn together. My class will be filled with girls and boys with a variety of learning abilities and learning needs.
Kindergarten is by far may favorite grade to teach.
Students are eager to learn, love coming to school, and in their minds the kindergarten teacher can do no wrong.
I know I have a huge impact on my students and I do not take my responsibility lightly. My greatest desire is for each of my students to develop a passion for learning. I want each of them to love kindergarten as much as I do.
My Project
My students need sit spots, building magnets, and an iPad charging display.
KIndergarten students love to build.
We would like to get additional STEM supplies to use in the classroom. We will add these magnets blocks to our stem tubs. They will be used for building, engineering, and practicing teamwork in our classroom.
We also need a storage case for our iPads and head phones. In kindergarten, we move from one activity to the next without a minute to spare. Theis items will help our classroom stay organized. I am teaching the students to be responsible and to clean up after themselves. This organizational tools will help the students know where each iPad and headphone belongs.
