Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach music in an urban elementary school to students in grades Prek-8th grade. The student population is multicultural. I have over 550 students that I teach, and I see most students once a week.

I do not have a budget. I am constantly purchasing my own CDs and music to use with my students, especially the younger ones. I would like to have more music and equipment such as the bean bags to use with my younger students to motivate them to learn music by singing new songs and move using new equipment.

I would like to have some new music CDs to use in my music classes in order to teach new songs and also have new music that they can move to. I would also like bean bags to move to the beat of the music and improve motor skills.

Your donation will make it possible for many students to learn new songs, improve motor skills, move to the beat, and enjoy coming to music because they are inspired to learn new songs.
