My Students
My students are a great group of strong kids who come from difficult backgrounds. I work at a Title I, urban school with students from various backgrounds and home situations. All the students at this school receive free lunch.
These students come to school every day with smiles on their faces!
This school is very diverse, and I want each student to feel represented. My classroom includes students who are new to the country and are learning English. I have students who speak Creole, Spanish, Portuguese, or English.
My Project
Document cameras allow students to share and discuss their work with others. Students place their art work, writing assignments, math and much more under the document camera, and it is presented onto a large white board making viewing much easier for other students. Students are then able to talk about the different pieces of work shown and have in-depth discussions with one another, making the learning enriching, meaningful, and fun for all students.
Document cameras are a motivational tool for teachers!
We want students to take control over their learning, and document cameras can help them do just that! Please help my students get the tools they need to succeed!
