This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
As each school day comes to an exciting start, we are greeted with beaming smiles and an indescribable desire for student learning! Our school is a Title I school in Florida. Our school caters to the general education population as well as a phenomenal special needs department. Nearly all of our students come from low-income households. Our amazing students are Pre-K through 5th Grade students that have physical impairments and cognitive disabilities.
Our students work hard, show a love for learning, and enjoy interacting with their peers and teachers each day!
Despite the many obstacles life has thrown their way, our stellar students come to school ready to learn! We strive to encourage and inspire our students to do the best they can. Our students are challenged with meaningful academic content. They show growth and accomplishments on a daily basis.
My Project
Some of our special needs students are more susceptible to illness than others. Our goal is to limit the spread of germs and prevent illness as much as we can. We want to keep our students as healthy as possible and to be ready to learn on a daily basis.
The products we need could be very helpful in cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting our classrooms.
The Clorox wipes and Lysol spray can assist in keeping doorknobs, desks, technology centers, and restrooms clean. We will provide the students with effective healthy habits using soap and hand sanitizer. The tissues can help keep their little noses clean.
These products can assist in keeping our classrooms healthy and our students in attendance at school.
