My Students

My students are balls of energy from the moment they step into the gym. They are eager to get moving, play games and have fun with their classmates. They enjoy the challenges of learning new activities and the feeling of accomplishment when they succeed individually or as a team. These students are very competitive and everyday they build upon their sportsmanship characteristics. Being able to see each student in the school every day, I am able to build relationships and really learn how different they all are. They all have little quirks that make them special and stand out in my mind. I am eager to teach them all skills throughout their years in elementary school that will assist them in living healthy active lifestyles.

My Project

The soccer goals I am requesting will be used to help develop K-5th grade students gross motor skills. We will use these to work on individual skills along with bigger game play. The best part about this equipment is that it is easily storable so it wont take away from the little outdoor space we do have. They can be moved around to accomedate differernt age levels and are lightweight so I will be able to set up and take down easily without injury. By adding this piece of equipment to our school I am able to give my students another resource to help expand their knowledge and gross motor skills.
