My students need seat sacks in order to increase valuable classroom space by adding storage for books, folders, and other supplies.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
I am a fifth grade teacher at a small school in a rural area of Northern, Virginia. We have students from various different economic backgrounds with over 60% of our students receiving free or reduced lunch. Our school is also one of the most ethnically diverse schools in our county.
My students enjoy flexible seating and working at tables to collaborate with one another.
However, in my classroom, we move about and my students lack space to store their books, folders, and other supplies.
A classroom set of seat sacks would provide each individual student with their own storage space, while not taking up more space within the classroom. They will have quick access to their books during the day, and also allows them to move around the room without tripping over items on the floor.
If my students had seat sacks, everything they needed would be at their finger tips.
Saving a lot of time.
The seat sack will also be a great way to foster responsibility and respect with the classroom. Allowing students to be more organized during the day and on task and engage in learning.
