My students are witty, creative, supportive, and growth minded! I have a very clever group of kiddos that truly flex their brain muscles. They positively love engaging projects that challenge them to problem solve and find solutions through innovation. They are supportive of one another and enjoy collaborating. They have a belief that "mistakes are good and they help us grow". They encourage each other through exploration. They love school and want to try new things. Every day is joy with these bright youngsters!
My Project
Learning about Earth science, time and fractions are a vital part of third grade. Having books, actual minerals, fossils, clocks and fraction tools will help bring science and math alive for each of my curious kids.
These Earth science books, minerals, fossils, clocks and fractions will enhance my small group explorations to provide each student with the support they need to be active learners with hands-on tools.
Providing students with actual minerals, fossils, fraction tools and clocks allows them to practice the skills they are learning from the text rich books filled with important information.
Kids make vital neurological connections when they are provided with opportunities to experience what they've read through the use of their senses. These tools give them a chance to participate in math and science personally.
