My Students
An observer at our school would be thrilled at what they saw as they walked the halls of our school. That is because they would see resilience, grit, and determination in motion.
Inquiring minds who need to know, explorers, seekers, researchers, and risk takers.These statements are accurate descriptors of our students.
They come from a variety of cultures and experiences, but are unified by their curiosity, untapped talent, and response to challenge. We have had students present at national conferences, perform with a school band overseas, organize school events, and overcome severe trials while succeeding in the classroom and in their personal lives.
Our teachers have learned to nurture, push and challenge these students to develop their confidence and discover themselves and their ability.
My Project
Every good rocker needs great instruments and the best accessories! Foot pedals, guitar stands, and keyboard benches make rocking out even more natural when paired with their drums, guitars, and keyboards!
Even though they don't make any sound, these accessories are a necessary part of the music making experience, almost as important as the music notes themselves!
They provide support, ergonomics, enhanced sound, and stage presence. Guitar picks bring out the sound, foot pedals help seated musicians control their guitar, and keyboard benches lift up the musicians arms for playing!
Now our musical stage can be set for the main focus - a band of kids who rock!
