My Project

This is a continuation of the previously funded "Music Is For Everyone" project. My students have been having a great time composing music this year and now it's time to rock! In the previous project they were able to use a variety of methods to give them voice and write a song. I introduced a special piano keyboard and drum kit to see how they would respond and it was amazing!

My students have diverse physical needs and these flexible roll-up keyboards and drum kits have been a game changer for them!

The barriers that traditional instruments create is removed with these instruments. My goal is to have enough instruments for each student to have their own. We are planning on doing a concert/video at the end of the year to debut our music. And of course, every band needs some cool lighting. Time to rock 'n roll!
