Help me give my students more books for our classroom library! I want to provide my students with several high-interest books to increase their love for Spanish and reading!
My students are very eager learners! They have fully embraced the adventure of learning Spanish. They arrive to class excited to find out what we will do each day and happily immerse themselves in our class activities. Their enthusiasm makes my job so much fun. Watching them learn a new language and use it with confidence is the highlight of my day.
These children are residents of the city of Buffalo, coming from very diverse backgrounds.
They come together in class to create a wonderful community that I am happy to be a part of.
My Project
My students have embraced learning language through reading. Their confidence continues to grow each day in their abilities to read, write, listen to, and speak Spanish all because they can read Spanish.
We all learned our first language through listening and reading, help my students do the same for their second language - Spanish!
I have been working to incorporate Free Voluntary Reading time in my classes. We need more books to choose from! These books span a variety of topics and reading abilities, so students are sure to find one that interests them! I am hoping to grow a population of students who love Spanish AND reading!
