This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

After being online for over one year, my students love reading actual books. They especially love fiction. However, I have been trying to encourage them to read more informational books. After taking an inventory of my classroom library, I quickly realized why very few children were choosing to read informational texts. My nonfiction books are very unappealing. Please help me encourage and motivate my students with these engaging and beautiful books.

I was looking through my classroom library to find books for Earth Day, and I was disappointed to discover nothing about nature or the importance of taking care of the Earth.
