This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in reading. Education is changing every single day, and so are the interest of my students. Students in my classroom like to read about characters that they can relate themselves to.

Struggling readers will find physical books more engaging as they can follow along while we direct our reading and work on reading comprehension.

Helping students discover that there is a whole world out there through books is a passion of mine. Students need to read as it helps them develop essential reading strategies that will only grow with them as they continue with their academics. My students would love to get their hands on these books with your help.
