My students need a 1 year subscription to Raz-Kids.com, an online database with hundreds of leveled ebooks for kids to practice reading at school and home. They also need Logitech Headsets to listen to the stories. The subscription also includes the wonderful library of reading AtoZ!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are continually growing, learning, and questioning everything around them. They are artists, thinkers, scientist, and problem solvers. They learn and grow from each other and help each other grow both academically and socially in the classroom.
Students help inspire each other to grow and reach their goals both in and out of the classroom.
They are our future and I want to give them a great start to the school year. Who wouldn't want to be part of a warm classroom with lots of hands-on fun?!
My Project
Wouldn't it be amazing to have a library resource to read various leveled books available with a click? All learners would have the same learning opportunity given to them during guided reading and fluency program available to all! One of the greatest challenges for many students is reading comprehension. As students improve in their fluency and move on to harder books, the comprehension tasks asked of them become more difficult.
By using Raz-Kids as a daily center, we will be able to provide our kids with a greater selection of high-interest reading material at a child's just right reading level.
A huge leveled reading library designed to for both teacher and student use! Guided reading for me and personal growth for my students!
All learners will benefit from the program, ELL's, Diverse Learners, Challenge or gifted students, and students who may have a processing issue. A great toll to reach the needs of all learners. The reading tool is designed to reach a class of 36 students to use. The RAZ part of the program allows for students to practice at their own pace by listening, reading, and understanding comprehension questions with a book quiz. I also like that that their is a fluency monitor for those who struggle with fluency. That's where the microphone headsets can help!
