My Students

Inquiring minds want to know! The 5E Model of Instruction, which includes engagement, exploration, explanation, elaboration, and evaluation, will enable my students to find out by actively learning essential science concepts through guided inquiry.

My 6th grade students are eager to learn and enjoy a challenge, especially when it involves helping others.

They have played a significant role in record breaking fundraising on our campus this year. Exploring the world around them and determining factors to benefit the environment are right up their alley.

My Project

The "Inquiries in Science: Sustaining Ecosystems Kit" and refills will allow students to individually observe various biotic parts of an ecosystem while determining specific biotic and abiotic factors necessary for maintaining a stable ecosystem. The knowledge gained will provide students with the ability to work together to construct a complete ecosystem and build models of their own.

Your contributions will grant my students the opportunity to explore the real world and benefit the environment by determining factors necessary to sustain a balanced ecosystem.

The experience will have an enormous impact on student learning and future achievements.
