My Students

Do you know what it's like to go into a museum and see the artifacts from the past? Students walking into a classroom without technology must feel the same way.

Middle school students are eager to learn what is necessary to be successful in their everyday life.

The students find pride in keeping up with the technological trends of this time period. The school is located in a high poverty area. Funds are not available to keep up with the ever changing educational society.

My Project

Having a projector in our classroom will allow students to take notes more productively, watch videos that correspond with the indicators being taught, students can take part in virtual field trips, and students can share projects that they have created on the computer. If it is the expectation that students must be taught about technology, teachers should also display the knowledge and encourage the experimentation. The students will learn to share their ideas with others and become more technologically advanced. As a teacher, I can print notes/slides for students who have missed class. I will better teach the technology standards that are required by the state.

Please help our classroom reach our full potential.

Adding technology will allow students more opportunity to work together and explore places/things that they usually would not be able to acquire. Having your donation will allow students to be more productive in the classroom.
