This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, and I work with students who are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.

Our school is a welcoming environment that wants to showcase the hard work our students create.

The students are supportive of one another and truly want to see each others' work.

My Project

My students love to create with their computers what we are missing is a way to print in color to show off the work they have done in class. This printer with ink will enable our students to showcase reports, brochures, charts, and graphs in vibrant color. My students draw pictures with their computers, and with this printer, they can share with other students as well as their families!

This printer will be used with my students in grades 3-5 to print finished work.

We will be learning to create brochures, flyers, class newspapers, as well as creating their own digital artwork. Being able to print these out will make the learning complete!
