My Students
We are a small Title I public school in the inner city serving 750 students from grades 6-12.
Our students work hard in and outside of the classroom and we want to make sure they have all of the basic needs taken care of.
We pride ourselves on making sure that they have the tools and resources that they need to be as successful as possible. I love my students because while they may not always have all the resources that they need, they take advantage of the ones they have and continue to succeed.
My Project
We are finally able to get back on the court and the field. Covid has stripped away so much. As we move to be more normal there is still so much that we need to have to maintain our programs. Balls and bags are a hefty expense and new balls are needed for every game and season. We want to make sure that we have enough balls to practice and to play!

We need balls! As time passes the balls take a beating and need to be replaced. Quality balls are expensive. These balls will allow students to practice and play in games with the necessary equipment. Our students take care of the equipment and use it to help them become better athletes. The baseball, basketball, and softball teams will all have new balls to play in their games. The bags will be utilized to transport the equipment as our bags are now falling apart after years of wear and tear.
