My Students

My students are bright, excited, and hungry to learn! They are the future doctors, lawyers, teachers, engineers, and entrepreneurs. I am blessed to teach every single student that comes through the front doors of my campus.

As the music teacher on campus, I am charged with the responsibility of ensuring my students develop a love and joy through music education.

I take this seriously, and need your help to fuel their love of music through playing instruments they may otherwise never get the chance to touch, play, and fall in love with!

My Project

Too many students are exposed to musical instruments through pictures on a screen. We know that in today's day and age that students need to learn about instruments by touching them, playing them, and developing an understanding of how they work.

This plastic trumpet will allow my students to be exposed to music in a way that isn't normal in an elementary music classroom.

Instead of just taking them to a symphony, they can now dream of being in one themselves. They can touch the tubing of a trumpet, figure out how to buzz their lips, and use science to understand the sounds. Music encompasses all subjects and this will bring it to life!
