My Students

I am a first grade teacher at a small town school in Minnesota. We may be little but have tons of community support and love!

I have been teaching for 5 years and have created a loving, comfy and warm classroom for my students!

In the past year, I have implemented morning play tubs. It has been great for the kids to have particular activities to do every day that are engaging, involve teamwork and that incorporate creativity and engineering skills as well.

I would love to have more building and other hands on materials which my students can use on a daily basis In order to “play with purpose” as well as work as a team and let their imagination soar! I hope you are so kind to help. Thank you for the support!

My Project

The donations for the LEGO table and other building supplies will go to creating a variety of activities for my students to enjoy! They love building with our current classroom items but they can get old and bored with them since we don’t have a large variety as of now.

The activities will engage their imagination, creativity and building skills on a daily basis.

It will also allow a great projects to work on in groups, improve students behavior, and give each student a purpose and goal every morning rather than not knowing what to play before the beginning of the school day.
