Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing kids that have a great desire and potential to learn new things! They take pride in their efforts and are willing to challenge their minds for the sake of learning.
My students are comprised of 100 amazing students, most of whom come from bilingual households and receive free lunch.
Our high school provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers, and a safe learning environment. Community is the heartbeat of our school, and I know that this project will help foster this ideal.
My Project
With everything going on in the world it is not surprisingly that many of students have a luck of good relationships with each other. As an Algebra 2 teacher, I know how important the kind and friendly atmosphere in the learning environment is. Playing together, these board games will help to build friendship and improve students’ relationships. On another hand, all of these board games will help to improve and increase student attention and focus. It will help the students who have focusing issues in their classes.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to deepen my students’ relationships with each other, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
We will use these board games in my Algebra 2 classes and during lunch time every day to improve students’ relationships and focusing. Our project will help students to avoid a lot of problems and focus on increasing their learning!
