Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach a 2/3 combo class in a traditional K-8 school in CA. My students consist of English Language Learners, Special Education students, and traditional education students. It is a busy, fun-filled day in our class.
I thoroughly love teaching these students and setting them on the path of success in education!
Students learn in a variety of different modes, and to reach each and every one of my students, I need to know their strengths and learning styles. Resources are always in demand in the classroom.
My Project
These materials would have a huge impact on our overall educational program. Students love physical education and they love music. Having the rolling speaker and iPod would allow me the opportunity to easily start a P.E. lesson and get the students moving outside.
Music is the universal connector to our senses and emotions!
Having these resources would allow my students the opportunity to experience music and movement. This would also provide the students an opportunity to listen to various genres of music. Studies show that incorporating music into any educational curriculum is beneficial and enhances the learning.
