Our school as a whole boasts academic excellence and have even earned the summative designation by the state of Illinois of Exemplary!
This honor has been earned through grit from all stakeholders.
We look forward to continuing to work this upcoming school year with each individual student to help them achieve their academic and personal goals by offering a diverse, rigorous, and exciting mathematical experience!
My Project
Having been in education for over 10 years, I have seen first-hand how well students learn in a classroom where movement is a part of classroom culture. In planning for this school year, my students would also benefit from comfortable stools at their station tables, wobble discs on their seats, and Fidget Bands on their chairs to promote learning with movement through fidgeting and focus!
Having these supplies in our classroom would benefit each student by encouraging movement and learning, allowing them to truly reach their full learning potential!
My hope is that by having these types of movement supports in the classroom, students will have the opportunity to focus to achieve their personal mathematics growth goals!
