I work in a school where the majority of my students are growing up in poverty. Although most of the students are growing up in these conditions, they are still eager to learn and are excited about being at school. They love to do fun new activities in the classroom. They all enjoy doing projects that involve hands-on learning.
My students are always eager to get to school and see what they will be learning that day.
My goal is to make sure they have all the materials they need to learn and succeed.
My Project
In this project I have added various alphabet items for my students to practice the alphabet and their spelling words. These materials will help my students learn while also having fun. Using alphabet stamps or magnetic alphabet pieces is a lot more engaging than doing a worksheet.
These items will allow my students to practice these the alphabet and their spelling words in a fun and engaging way.
They can use the alphabet stamps to practice their alphabet or spelling out their spelling words. They can do the same thing with the Play-Doh cutouts and the magnetic letters. If an activity is engaging than it makes all the difference in a students learning experience.
