Something I love about my students is their endless enthusiasm. Despite the crazy circumstances of the past couple of years, they are still always excited to learn! The students I get to see change each semester, and I love getting to know each of their personalities shine through the nerves.
As we work on our musicality in elementary school, I get to see so much potential in every one of them, and it gives me hope about the future.
These are some of the brightest students out there, and if given the chance, these kids are going to change the world for the better, and hopefully what they learn in music class will help them on that path!
My Project
These materials will be used in the classroom to give students opportunities that they may never get to have again. Not every student will have the option to perform for a variety of reasons, and not every student would want to. But with the help of some simple microphones, the students can be emboldened to show their peers what they’ve got!
Gaining confidence to be in the spotlight, after such a long period of isolation, can be an uphill battle.
But I’m confident that with the right encouragement and the proper tools, each student can be the rockstar they want to be! These materials will help our classroom be the right environment for these budding superstars.
