My students always have smiles on their faces from the beginning of the day to the end of the day! I have a diverse group of students in my class. My students parents are extremely involved in their children's learning. However, there are some parents that are not involved nor wish to be involved in their children's academics which makes it hard for those students to grow. There are concerns with some of their skills but they work their hardest to do the best they possibly can! When my students do not understand a topic they do not hesitate to ask for help from me or their peers. My students fly through books because they enjoy reading and are always looking for new and interesting books to read.
They have made tremendous growth since the beginning of the year and continue to work hard to achieve their goals!
My students are role models for the rest of the school being that they are in fifth grade. They inspire me to become a better teacher everyday because of their caring personalities and their determinations to do well.
My Project
I am a new teacher and was not given many books for my classroom library. I am doing what I can to add to my library for my students. My students are always asking for new fun and interesting books to read and I am doing everything I can to make this happen but I need some help!
My students absolutely love to read and fly through books!
I would love nothing more then to help them grow as readers and make sure they are having fun while they are reading. I want them to read as much as possible and make sure they are enjoying what they are reading. I want to make reading an enjoyable experience for these amazing students!
