My Students

My students are starting this year off in a way that is new for everyone.

With Covid 19 there are may new rules and regulations about sharing.

I love teaching first grade. Sharing is something that we usually teach our kiddos to do. This year is different. Students are unable to share because of safety. My class has been so great in following rules and keeping their distance I am really proud of them!

My Project

School is different this year. My class looks different. I don't have a reading corner with pillows or carpets. We cant share materials or partner read. My students are doing great adapting and following rules. I just want to give them something fun they can use while reading to themselves.

I want my students to have fun learning and being in school.

I let them lay under their desks to silent read if they want. They will love using the sound telephones to her themselves read. They will also love to use magnifying glasses to search for new words. I want for my students to love reading as much as I do!
