My Students

My students are amazing. They come to school everyday and try their best.They are young and have a lot of obstacles to overcome but that does not stop them. It was very cold the other day and not many students showed up. When I asked one student why she came, she said, "I came to learn and be a better reader." These students want to achieve and they can, it's just a lot more difficult because they lack the resources they need. They would be really appreciative of the donation.

My Project

These chairs will greatly benefit my students. Right now my reading area consists of a dirty rug on a tile floor. When they go over there to read they end up rolling around or fighting with each other. If they were given individual seats, they could enjoy reading and focus on themselves and their books.

They need these chairs.

The students love to read, but when it's not comfortable and they do not have their own special spot, the students become very distracted. I want to create a love for learning that will follow them through life. Having these seats will be a great start.
