My Students

I work at a Title I school with over half of the population on free or reduced-price lunch. They don't have much in the way of material things, but they don't seem to notice or care. My campus is a mix of ESL, dyslexic, and special behavior needs from Pre-K to 5th Grade. These students are kindhearted and hardworking, but they need your help. They're from a very close-knit rural community with and it shows in how they care for one another.

Due to our campus flooding twice within two years, we have lost several creative items students use to create and showcase their work.

We are struggling to get back to normal and could use your help. The end of our year is fast approaching, and I would love for our students to be able to take a memento of their year with them.

My Project

These much needed tools will help my students take ownership in their work and allow them to showcase them. The binding machine and die cuts will give that extra touch of importance when students write stories or create portfolios of art as well as documenting benchmark projects from the year.

Showcasing a student's work expresses the sentiment that their work is priceless.

A simple binding machine, along with a few large die cuts, will help achieve this experience by preserving the student memories of this year and every year to follow.
